Is a Camera-Based Robot Vacuum Safe?

LiDAR is not synonymous with offline or private. A camera-free robot may still transmit maps, device identifiers, Wi-Fi information and usage data through its app or cloud service.

Treat a mobile camera feature like a home-security camera
Remote viewing can be useful, but it also creates a pathway to see inside the home. Protect the account with a unique password and MFA, review viewing history or alerts if available, and disable the feature if its value does not justify the exposure.
